Summary: How the new Mrs Du adapt into General Manager world.

 

Ya Nuo stomp her feet at the floor looking at Zi Feng with an angry eyes. 

“How could he leave with alone with Zi Han and Feng Jie at the charity event?” She mumbles in lower voice. Ya Nuo take a seat at end of the bed and she cross her arm.

Zi Feng smile when he looks at Ya Nuo expression. He know that look and he know why he get a silent treatments since he come home from work. Walk to her and sit beside her, Zi Feng take Ya Nuo hand and rub her knuckle.

“Baby, I’m sorry for leaving you there. I have an urgent matter to attend and this event is good for you to develop your communication skill”

“I know but I don’t like being alone around other people” Ya Nuo tried to tell Zi Feng her uncomfortable feeling.

Kiss her forehead, Zi Feng tell her, his reason “Ya Nuo, you are not alone. Mom and Zi Han are there. You need to attend this function as my wife. Represent me. Mom time as my representative is over as soon as you become my wife.”

Ya Nuo nodded and she put her head on her husband shoulder, closing her eyes to erase the tired feeling. Zi Feng felt sorry for Ya Nuo, if last time he can ditch any event just because he don’t want Feng Jie to introduce any girl to him but now since he already married, he can’t avoid it anymore.

Being Du Zi Feng wife is not that simple. Ya Nuo has to attend charity event and joining clubs. This is also to maintain Du family name as a clean ex-triad family. She felt grateful to Feng Jie as she always help her in her transformation from Ms Pi to Mrs Du Ya Nuo and she did take some grooming classes to help her in her daily affair. 

“Today I did something amazing, I success in gaining a talk about sponsorship to the autism children home. They want to meet for some discussion on this coming thursday so can you come with me?”  Ya Nuo told Zi Feng her today report.

Zi Feng wrinkles his nose as he thinking about something. “I’m sorry Ya Nuo, I can’t go with you. Maybe you can ask Zi Han to accompany you instate”.

Ya Nuo nodded as she knows her husband is a very busy person. Always have meeting to be attend as the new amusement park will be built after they come with mutual agreement with all contractors.

At home Ya Nuo will always help Feng Jie to do the house chores. She loves how modest Du family is. Even they can simply hire some maid but Feng Jie decides all the house chores should be done by wife. That’s how a home is built. 

When all the household duty done, she will sometimes go to Zi Feng office to check on her schedule with Amy for any luncheon or any charity event she and Zi Feng need to be attend. In the office, Ya Nuo still act as his private assistance but not on daily basis. She will only come to office when only there is any meeting that need her to be there. 

Tonight they both have a charity dinner need to be attending so she drags Zi Han for some shopping spree and Zi Han happily agree with her sister-in law request.

Walking with her hand link at his arm, Zi Feng and Ya Nuo arrive at the event venue. They smile and greeted some of Zi Feng friend and business partner. Ya Nuo tried to be presentable as possible and she will sometimes talk with their partner about local issue and even about some charity event that she attends.

Zi Feng smile looking at his wife. He knows Ya Nuo felt uncomfortable around people but she did a great job for mangling with others. But what makes he feel proud about her is how she holds her pride high. He knows there a small talk about Ya Nuo gender since she still has the short haircut even though it’s longer than her usual boyish haircut and its kind a cute.

Zi Feng looks around the grand ballroom and he spotted Qing Yang and Nana at far corner of the room. He smile to them and whisper to Ya Nuo telling her about the couple. Interlace their finger, Zi Feng and Ya Nuo walk to Qing Yang and Nana. The boys make a friendly hug while the girls exchange greet.

“Wow Ya Nuo, you look different” Nana told her as she scans Ya Nuo dress.

“Different as in good or different as in bad?” Ya Nuo tease Nana remarks.

“Of course different in good terms. Seriously you look beautiful” Nana praise Ya Nuo with a big eye smile.

Tonight Ya Nuo decide to wear Stella McCartney gown – it was soft grey with dark green leaves with high slit, a perfect complement to Zi Feng’s dark grey suite. The off shoulder gown hugged every inch of her small and tall frame. She use matching shoes and evening bag. With her short hair, leaving her neck, nape and collar bones exposed. She completes her look with light makeup, simple heart shape diamond necklace and earrings.

Zi Feng notices since they step into the premise, all eyes were on his wife. He has a mix feeling. Proud and jealousy as few young man keep throwing smile at Ya Nuo. Qing Yang notice Zi Feng expression.

“Hey bro, don’t make that kind of face. Ya Nuo won’t look at other man” 

Zi Feng nod and they continue talking about random stuff until they decide they want to retreat.

Ya Nuo put her head on Zi Feng chest as he pulls her closer. They already at home and after wash up, they both lay down on bed. Ya Nuo close her eyes and breathing calmly hearing Zi Feng heart beats.

Zi Feng watches Ya Nuo as she drift to dreamland. He kisses her forehead. He know Ya Nuo felt extremely tired being his wife and Mrs Du. He hope she won’t ever felling tired of this marriage.
